Summer is just around the corner, and the real estate market in Columbus is really heating up!
Average home prices topped $225,000 for the first time ever, and the number of homes sold breached the 2,500 mark for the first time this year! These factors, contributed to Columbus being ranked the 4th hottest US housing market by Realtor.com last month!
Further, the number of homes for sale also appears to be on the rise. There were 3,698 homes listed last month, a 9% increase over April 2017.
“Inventory made a solid jump last month. I think that is a sign of positive things to come,” said Sara Walsh, President of Columbus REALTORS®. “Sellers realize there is a tremendous advantage in having their home on the market right now.”
